Holiday season is just around the corner and you might be planning vacations or already would be en route to your paradise. If you are still planning then we might have something for you to make your packing easier. If you are an iPhone user then this one's for you. Your iPhone holds the key to a perfect escape be it for planning the perfect itinerary or for reliving cherished moments.

Here are the top three iPhone hacks for you to make the most of your summer adventures.

Capture The ID

  • If finding time to visit a photo studio amidst your hectic schedule seems impossible, your iPhone can come to the rescue. You can ask a friend to take a photo or use a tripod to capture a well-lit image.
  • Ensure the phone is set to Light Mode.
  • Tap and hold on the subject of your image to separate it from the background, then tap “Copy” and paste the image into a new note in the Notes app.
  • In the Notes app, take a screenshot of the note containing the image, and open the screenshot in Photos.
  • Tap “Edit” and then “Crop.”
  • Select the rectangular icon located in the top right corner, and choose the desired aspect ratio.
  • Tap “Done,” and your newly cropped ID photo is now ready for upload!

Pack Smarter With Reminders App

  • To get started, either create a new list in Reminders or open an existing one that you typically use for packing purposes.

  • Next, tap on the three dots located in the top right corner of your list. From the options presented, select "Save as Template."

  • Assign a descriptive name to your template, such as "Goa," and then tap on "Save."

  • When it's time to pack for your next trip, navigate to the square overlapping squares icon located at the bottom of the Reminders screen. This action will bring up the Template view.

  • From the Templates view, choose the packing list template that suits your upcoming trip, provide it with a trip-specific name, and then tap on "Create."

  • Voila! You now have a fresh copy of your list, all set for customization as you prepare for your next adventure!

Explore The Place Like A Local

You can use Apple Maps' "My Guides" feature to curate a list of must-see spots. Here's how you can do it:

  • Within the Apple Maps application, navigate down until you reach the "My Guides" segment.
  • Press "New Guide" to initiate the process, furnish it with an appropriate title, and then tap on "Create."
  • Locate the plus sign (+) positioned in the bottom right corner to commence searching for locations such as restaurants, museums, and hidden gems.
  • Once your list is complete, tap "Done."
  • Click on your profile picture situated in the top right corner of the Maps search card.
  • Navigate to "Guides" and select the desired one for sharing. Lastly, tap on the Share icon to distribute your guide to others.
