iPhone Users Will Have To Wait Till 2025 To Experience Apple Intelligence Support In Indian English
Apple Intelligence will be expanded to support more devices and languages by 2025.
Apple is reportedly going to play a slow game with its AI overtures, and as for now, the iPhone maker is going to only offer it in select languages. People are eagerly awaiting the iOS 18 update, after which Apple Intelligence will take over the place. iPhone users in a number of nations can try the AI features on select models, but when it comes to language support, it is limited to US English for the initial phase.
Indians can also try Apple's AI experience on their iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max or the latest models of the iPhone 16 series just by changing the language settings on their iPhones. However, in case they want the local support, then they have no other option than waiting for a long time. As for countries like Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, and the UK, Apple’s English support will come to these regions later this year itself.
Apple's official details on the AI update read, “Apple Intelligence will be available as a free software update. The first set of Apple Intelligence features will be available in beta next month as part of iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1, with more features rolling out in the months to come.”

Apple Intelligence Availability Post Rollout
Apple’s AI features will be initially available on several devices, including the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, as well as iPads and Macs powered by M1 chips or later. According to Apple, users will need to have their device and Siri language set to US English to access these AI tools right from the start.
The company also noted that Apple Intelligence will be expanded to support more devices and languages by 2025. These additional languages will include Chinese, English (India), English (Singapore), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, and Vietnamese.
Earlier this month, Apple gave a preview of these AI capabilities during its Glow Time event. However, most of these features are still in beta, and Apple has not provided a specific release date for when they will be fully available to iPhone and other Apple device users.
