Delivery Of Some iPhone 15 Models Not Before November In India: Report

India is among the first lot of countries where people can pre-order the new iPhone 15 series.

In line with a few predictions, the shipments of the new Apple iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models will be delayed until November in India, thus, pointing at higher demand for the Pro models, according to a report by news agency Bloomberg. The delivery of non-Pro models, the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus have also been pushed back, but not too far from the scheduled date of availability, said a report by Business Standard. The iPhone 15 series is slated to be available in India starting September 22 with pre-bookings opened last week.

The Bloomberg report added that shipment times for the blue and black iPhone Pro Max variants have been pushed back to as late as October 16, while the natural and white models have been delayed until November 13. Delays affected all storage capacities of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, a version that features a revamped camera and larger screen.

For the Pro models, Apple has done away with its iconic "mute button" in favour of a new "Action button" that can be customised to perform tasks such as quickly accessing the camera, or starting a voice recording.
