Apple has acknowledged the camera issue that was affecting several iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max model users with camera shake or camera rattling issue. The tech giant has said that it would be rolling out a software update next week to fix the camera issue that is causing the iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Pro models where using the camera is leading to a shaking image while using third-party apps like Snapchat, Instagram and TikTok and grinding noises are coming from the camera bump, the media has reported.

Several early buyers of the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max models started to report the camera rattling issues over the weekend, but it was not clear whether the issue was with third-party such as Snapchat and TikTok or with the new iOS 16 itself. It should be noted that the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max models are reported to be functioning just fine while using Apple’s own app.

According to a report in The Verge, given that it’s the iPhone maker releasing an update, it appears that the issue is with the models and their APIs rather than the third-party apps.

Meanwhile, users of the new iPhone 14 Pro Max models who are experiencing this camera issue are advised to stay tuned for a software fix that is arriving next week, which would likely be the iOS 16.0.2. They are also not advised to play around with the camera system of the devices as it could potentially cause permanent physical damage to the hardware.

The new iPhone 14 series went on sale in India on Friday (September 16) where the newly launched iPhone 14, the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max became available via multiple sales channels. The iPhone 14 Plus which has been introduced this year instead of an iPhone mini model would be available in October.

The price of the iPhone 14 Pro Max starts at Rs 1,39,900 onwards and the model comes with a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion, Always-On feature. In terms of imaging, iPhone 14 Pro Max comes with a 48MP primary rear camera paired with a 12MP telephoto sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor.

The starting price of the iPhone 14 Pro has been set at 1,29,900 onwards in India. The model comes with a 6.1-inch display and it is powered by the new A16 Bionic chipset. A main highlight of the smartphone is "Dynamic Island" which a new design that adapts in real-time to show important alerts, notifications, and activities and it is also present in iPhone 14 Pro Max. The iPhone 14 Pro comes with a 48MP main camera and for selfies, there's a 12MP TrueDepth camera.
