Google Pixel 9 Pro XL Specifications Leaked: Rumoured To Sport A 6.8-Inch OLED Display
The Google Pixel 9 XL phone has apparently been named after its massive 6.8” display, an OLED panel with 1,344 x 2,992px resolution and up to 3,000 nits of brightness.
The Google Pixel 9 series is just days away from its launch, and numerous details about the design and specifications of the same have been leaked online already. As per the rumours doing rounds in the market, the Google Pixel 9 series will not carry forth the tradition and will come out with the current Android 14 out of the box rather than introducing the next version. This is most probably an aftermath of pulling the launch of the Google Pixel 9 series forward, as the Google Pixel 8 series was launched in November. Akin to the Google Pixel 8 series, the Google Pixel 9 series will also receive 7 years of Feature Drops.
The Google Pixel 9, Google Pixel 9 Pro, and Google Pixel Pro XL will be powered by the Google Tensor G4 chipset paired with the Titan M2 security chip. The top variant of the Google Pixel 9 series will boast a RAM of 16GB and a storage capacity of 128GB. The storage for the top variant can go up to 1TB. The price for the base model of the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL is expected to be $1,100, and the price tag for the 256GB model is likely to be $1,200. As per rumours, the pre-orders will have a free storage upgrade to 512GB.

Google Pixel 9 Series Specifications (Expected)
The Google Pixel 9 XL phone has apparently been named after its 6.8” display, an OLED panel with 1,344 x 2,992px resolution and up to 3,000 nits of brightness. Notably, some earlier leaks suggested that it might feature a 6.73” diagonal and lower brightness. The display will sport a Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and will feature a punch-hole seflie camera of 42-megapixel with an f/2.2 lens.
If we talk about the back camera setup, then it will be led by a 50-megapixel wide camera with an f/1.68 lens and will be backed by a 48MP 5x periscope (f/2.8) and a 48MP ultra wide (123°, f/1.7).
As per earlier leaks, the primary camera lens will be a Samsung GNK 1/1.31” sensor, and it will have OIS. The ultra wide module is expected to use the Sony IMX585 (1/2.51”) lens. These two cameras will be featured on all three Pixel 9 models. For the Google Pixel 9 Pro and Google Pixel 9 Pro XL specifically, the tele module will use the IMX858 sensor plus OIS. It is important to note that the Pixel 9 Pro Fold will use a different camera setup.
If we talk about the battery, there’s no word on that in this leak but as per previous leaks, a battery capacity of 5,060mAh and 45W wired charging (wireless speed TBD) speed was revealed for one of its variants.
Needless to say, the Google Pixel 9 series phones will come with Gemini AI-powered functions. Users are expected to be able to use the Pixel Studio AI to create images. The reimagine feature will transform an object in a photo into something else. In addition to all this, there will also be an AI-powered weather app that will provide summaries and outfit tips.
