Global Running Day 2022: Top 5 Affordable Smartwatches Under Rs 5,000 In India

New Delhi: Today (June 1) is Global Running Day and the growing popularity of smartwatches and fitness trackers suggests that more people are taking up running or workouts to lead an active and healthy life. We all know that the smartwatch segment grew by leaps and bounds after the global coronavirus pandemic and the India smartwatch market is currently dominated by affordable smartwatches made by homegrown brands like Boat, Noise and Fire Boltt. Dizo, the first brand under Realme TechLife that has budget products climbed up to the fourth spot while Noise retained the top position followed by Boat at the second spot in Q1.

According to Counterpoint Research, smartwatches grew at a record 173 per cent YoY in the first quarter (Q1) of 2022, courtesy of the falling ASP of smartwatches and growing ASP of activity bands. We have compiled a list of five best-selling budget smartwatches that can help embrace a more active lifestyle.

Noise ColorFit Ultra

Noise ColorFit Ultra features a 1.75-inch HD TruView display and packs in useful health tracking features such as heart-rate sensor, SpO2 blood oxygen level monitoring among others. The smartwatch has 60 sports modes that can track almost all fitness activities. Noise claims that the dvice's battery can power all its sensors, software and hardware for around nine days on a single charge. There are more than 100 watch faces and an IP68 certification.

Dizo Watch 2

Dizo Watch 2 comes with a big 1.69-inch display with decent brightness. There is a layer of 2.5D curved glass protecting the display. It has more than 100 watch faces and 15 sports modes for easy workout tracking. Sensors on the device are heart rate monitor, a sleep tracker and SpO2 monitor. The smartwatch is claimed to offer 10-day battery life on a single charge.

Amazfit Bip U Pro

Amazfit Bip U Pro is perhaps one of the best smartwatches under Rs 5,000 and offers the best value for money features and design. There is a 1.43-inch display and sensors on the device include heart rate monitor, SpO2, stress levels, sleep and step counting. A nifty add-on is the music control feature and the camera on the connected smartphone. There is also built-in GPS for accurate step count. The smartwatch claims to offer nine days of battery life on a single charge.

Boat Matrix

Boat Matrix features a 1.65-inch AMOLED display with an always-on mode. The smartwatch supports more than 50 watch faces. It can monitor heart rate and SpO2 with the option of 24×7 monitoring modes. There is support for smartphone music and camera control. The company claims that this smartwatch's the battery can last up to seven days of usage on a single charge.

Crossbeats Ignite S3

Crossbeats Ignite S3 features a built-in microphone and speaker and comes with a 1.7-inch LCD touch display and a metal frame. Sensors onboard include heart rate tracking and SpO2 tracking, sleep, women’s health and stress monitoring too.
