Samsung Galaxy Tab A9, A9+ Plus Launched: Colours, Specs, More
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 series tabs will be available from October 23, starting with select markets.
Samsung on Monday officially announced the new Galaxy Tab A9 series, comprising the Galaxy Tab A9 and Galaxy Tab A9+, days after listing them on e-commerce platforms. Available in two sizes, the new Android tabs from Samsung come with immersive video and audio features. The Galaxy Tab A9 and Galaxy Tab A9+ expand Samsung's Galaxy connected ecosystem and they will be available in select regions, globally. There is no official word whether the Galaxy Tab A9 and Tab A9+ will be available in India. But they are expected to eventually head to India.

The Galaxy Tab A9 and A9+ come with the biggest screens in the Galaxy A series of tablets. The Galaxy A9 and Galaxy A9+ come with 8.7-inch and 11-inch displays, respectively, and the latter features 90Hz refresh rate that promises lag free gaming and scrolling. Other features include quad speakers, powered by Dolby Atmos. There's hyper-fast 5G connectivity as well. The Galaxy Tab A9, on the other hand, features dual speakers and LTE connectivity.
The tabs have been announced in three colours: Graphite, Silver and Navy.
Both the tablets feature sleek, unibody designs with a soft-texture back cover that claims to make it easy to handle them.
The Galaxy Tab A9 and A9+ also feature the biggest memory and onboard storage available on Galaxy Tab A series, which should make it easier to store and save documents and more. Both te tabs come with 4GB/64GB and 8GB/128GB configurations that is expandable up to 1TB via a MicroSD card slot. The Galaxy Tab A9 features a 5,100mAh battery while the Tab A9+ comes with 7,040mAh battery.
Samsung has not named the processor that both the tabs feature.
Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ comes with PC-level multitasking, with Samsung DeX and the multi-active window that lets up to three split-screens, to maximise the ability to do more tasks at once. The Galaxy Tab A series users can now record their screen with Screen Recorder as well.
