First Look At The iPhone 15 Pro Via Renders Reveal USB-C Port And Thicker Rear Camera Lenses

There are some notable changes in the iPhone 15 Pro when compared with last year's iPhone 14 Pro and the biggest change is the swapping of Apple's Lightning port with the USB-C charging port.

Apple is likely to unveil the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro this fall, but we have got our first look at the device, courtesy of new renders. The latest renders of the iPhone 15 Pro are CAD-based, which means they are pretty rough around the edges; CAD files are sent by the iPhone maker to accessory makers in Asia ahead of the launches of new products, with an aim to have their readied products when the new iPhone lineup is officially unveiled.

Looking at these, it is difficult to spot all differences at first glance, especially as it is just in one solid colour. However, as per 9to5Mac, there are some notable changes in the iPhone 15 Pro when compared with last year's iPhone 14 Pro and the biggest change is the swapping of Apple's Lightning port with the USB-C charging port. Similar to the current model, the USB-C port has been placed at the bottom, next to the bottom-firing speaker, as per the render.

Pointing out the other differences, 9to5Mac noted that the iPhone 15 Pro also has a thinner design and curvier edges on the glass that meets with the metal frame. Another big change comes from the rear camera setup, featuring what seems like a thicker island and also thicker lenses.
