Dell And Alienware's First Gaming Experience Store Opens In India

Dell Technologies and Alienware on Tuesday opened their first-ever gaming experience store in India.

Dell Technologies and Alienware on Wednesday opened their first-ever gaming experience store in India. The gaming experience store is located in New Delhi's Nehru Place and it is aimed at providing a hub for gamers to meet, interact, play and buy Dell’s latest range of products while allowing free walk-ins for experiencing the products.

The flagship store has product display and experience areas, e-sports game section as well as a peripheral and accessories unit that reconstructs an all-round immersive game experience for players. The store’s design concept reflects Dell and Alienware’s principles of innovation, interaction and community building by creating an immersive experience for gamers, the companies claimed.

This comes at a time when leading electronics brands are pushing for a greater retail presence in India. South Korean tech giant Samsung inaugurated its biggest retail store in north India in New Delhi in January and Cupertino, California-based Apple plans to open its official stores in India next week.

The Alienware Experience Store's design draws inspiration from creative elements as well as the integration of superior technologies with the main attraction of the store being the “Battle Zone,” which provides a holistic multiplayer gaming experience.

The gaming experience centre is designed with a metallic style and unique colour design, with Alienware elements that aim to create a powerful visual identity for the store. There are digital screens that aim to create engaging and dynamic content that will let visitors dive right into the gaming experience.

The main attraction of the store is the “Battle Zone,” which allows gamers to face off with their opponent and test-drive the entire available ecosystem. It not only provides a holistic experience of all the gaming hardware but also immerses the player into a complete sensory zone, sharpening focus, and preparing for victory.

“It's incredible to see the rate at which the Indian gaming landscape is expanding. Alienware has always been at the forefront of reshaping the gaming experience and the new Alienware Experience Store embodies the legacy of the Alienware brand by enabling the use of cutting-edge technology and innovative design elements to create what we refer to as ‘the gamers' paradise. Providing a completely new entertainment experience, the store will further strengthen our engagement with the Indian gaming community and create quality experiences for all gamers," Rosandra Silveira, Senior Vice President, Global Channel Sales, Dell Technologies, said in a statement.

The store also has a “Browse and Explore” section that will allow visitors to look and feel a variety of Dell gaming laptops, desktops, peripherals, and lifestyle notebooks. There is also a dedicated “Accessories Zone” which showcases products beyond Dell’s main offerings.
