Apple Watch Series 10 Likely To Feature Ultra-Large Display, Slimmer Profile

Gurman says that the Apple Watch Series 10 might sport a 49mm screen, putting it on par with the larger Apple Watch Ultra.

The next iteration of Apple Watch series may be in for a significant upgrade. According to reports, the Apple Watch Series 10 could feature a display matching the size of the company's premium Apple Watch Ultra model. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, known for his accurate predictions, shared these insights in his latest "Power On" newsletter. Gurman says that the Apple Watch Series 10 might sport a 49mm screen, putting it on par with the larger Apple Watch Ultra.

Apple Watch Series 10 May Get Slimmer Design

This potential screen size increase isn't the only likely improvement the watch will be getting. Gurman's sources hint at a slimmer profile for the upcoming Apple Watch model, addressing user requests for a more streamlined design. The reduced thickness could enhance comfort for daily wear without compromising on features.

The most intriguing rumour surrounds the watch's processing capabilities. The Apple Watch Series 10 is said to incorporate a new chip that could pave the way for artificial intelligence (AI) features in future updates. While details remain unclear, this leak suggests Apple is looking to push the boundaries of what's possible in wearable technology.

As with all unofficial reports and leaks, these details should be taken with a pinch of salt. The Cupertino-based tech giant has not confirmed any specifications for the upcoming device.

However, if these rumours come true, the Apple Watch Series 10 could represent a significant leap forward in the company's wearable lineup, while blurring the lines between its standard and premium smartwatch offerings.

The Apple Watch Series 10 may not include all the health monitoring features previously rumoured. Apple has encountered hurdles in developing two key features for its wearables: blood pressure monitoring and sleep apnea detection. Sources say that the blood pressure monitoring feature has not met Apple's stringent reliability standards during internal testing. As a result, the company may postpone its release.

Gurman also suggests that Apple is now faced with a tight timeline. The company is currently working to resolve the ITC ban before the likely September launch cycle.
