Apple’s budget-friendly iPhone SE is rumored to be getting a significant update soon. The iPhone SE 4 is anticipated to debut early next year, succeeding the iPhone SE (2022) as its refreshed version. While Apple has yet to confirm plans for a new SE model, a recent leak from Korea has shed some light on potential pricing details.
The upcoming iPhone SE 4 is speculated to adopt a design similar to the standard iPhone 14, featuring a 6.1-inch OLED display, Face ID support, and the powerful A18 chipset.

iPhone SE 4: Price (Expected)
A recent report from the South Korean blog Naver, citing insider sources, suggests that the iPhone SE 4 could launch with a price tag below $500 (approximately Rs 42,000). In South Korea, however, the cost is expected to exceed KRW 8,00,000 (around Rs 46,000).
This aligns with earlier rumours indicating a price range between $499 (roughly Rs 42,000) and $549 (approximately Rs 46,000). For reference, the current iPhone SE (2022) debuted at a starting price of $429 (around Rs 35,000) for the 64GB base model.
iPhone SE 4: Specifications (Expected)
The upcoming iPhone SE 4 is rumored to introduce Apple’s first in-house 5G baseband chip, potentially contributing to a higher price point. Previously, Apple has relied on Qualcomm’s modems for its devices.
In addition to this new chip, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to adopt a more modern design, resembling the iPhone 14. Key features could include a 6.1-inch OLED display, the powerful A18 chipset (the same processor found in the iPhone 16 series), and support for Apple Intelligence features.
Camera capabilities may see a boost with a single 48-megapixel rear sensor, while RAM options are speculated to include 6GB and 8GB LPDDR5 variants. Other expected upgrades include an aluminum frame, Face ID, and USB Type-C charging support.
