The lineup is expected to include four models: the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max, continuing Apple's tradition of unveiling new flagship phones each year. One of the standout features anticipated in the iPhone 16 Pro model is a significant camera upgrade, including a 5x optical zoom telephoto lens — up from the 3x zoom available in the previous generation. Reports from Trendforce indicate that Apple may discontinue the 128GB variant for the iPhone 16 Pro, with the base model starting at 256GB, similar to last year's iPhone 15 Pro Max.
This shift was initially expected to bring a price hike, but according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the starting price will remain at $999, matching last year’s pricing. The iPhone 16 Pro is also rumoured to be equipped with Apple's new A18 chipset and enhanced AI features.
