Wearables maker Amazfit on Wednesday introduced its latest smartwatch, the T-Rex 3, to the Indian market, following its global debut at IFA 2024. The rugged smartwatch is now available for pre-order in the country, and it comes with a range of features that cater to both tech enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers. The Amazfit T-Rex 3 comes with a robust design with a 1.5-inch circular AMOLED display, protected by Gorilla Glass and encased in a stainless steel bezel.

Amazfit T-Rex 3 Gets GPT-4o AI Assistant

In line with the growing importance of AI, the T-Rex 3 comes equipped with OpenAI's GPT-4o AI assistant, promising enhanced user interaction and smart features. The Amazfit T-Rex 3 is priced at Rs 19,999 in India and is currently available for pre-order in the Onyx colour variant through e-commerce site Amazon and Amazfit's official website. Deliveries are scheduled to begin on September 27, with an additional Lava colour option expected to hit the market in October.

This durable smartwatch is built to withstand the elements, featuring 10 ATM water resistance and meeting military-grade standards.

Amazfit T-Rex 3 Specs, Features

The smartwatch comes with a range of workout options, with over 170 preset modes available. The device also incorporates advanced health monitoring capabilities through its BioTracker PPG biometric sensor, which tracks vital signs such as heart rate and blood oxygen levels. One of the standout features of the T-Rex 3 is its impressive battery life, with Amazfit claiming up to 27 days of typical usage from its 700mAh battery.

Even under heavy use, the smartwatch is expected to last up to 13 days. For those who rely on GPS functionality, the watch offers various modes to balance accuracy and battery life, with the most conservative setting promising up to 180 hours of use. The T-Rex 3 runs on ZeppOS 4 and is compatible with the Zepp App, offering seamless integration with smartphones. It also supports dual-band GPS, allowing users to download offline maps and receive navigation instructions through connected Bluetooth headphones.

With its combination of durability, advanced features, and long battery life, the Amazfit T-Rex 3 is poised to make a significant impact in the Indian smartwatch market, offering a compelling option for those seeking a robust and feature-rich wearable device.
