It seems like a lot is going on with Apple. The iPhone maker has recently announced a special event 'It's Glowtime' that will be hosted on September 9 at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park. Now another piece of news about the tech giant has surfaced. Apple has revealed that its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Luca Maestri, will transition from his current role on the first day of the new year i.e., January 1, 2025. Apple's Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis, Kevan Parekh, will be his successor and will join the executive team as the new Chief Financial Officer.

Maestri will maintain his leadership role over the Corporate Services teams, which encompass information systems and technology, information security, and real estate and development. He will continue to report directly to Cook.

Apple CEO Tim Cook on Kevan Parekh's promotion said, “For more than a decade, Kevan has been an indispensable member of Apple’s finance leadership team, and he understands the company inside and out. His sharp intellect, wise judgment, and financial brilliance make him the perfect choice to be Apple’s next CFO.”
