Apple has just announced a special event for the month of September, and it is expected to be the launch event for the upcoming iPhone 16 series. There have been rumours doing the rounds in the market for months that Apple is going to unveil its iPhone 16 this year and the announcement of the 'It's Glowtime' event aligns with the expected launch date of the upcoming iPhone. The event will be hosted at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park and will commence at 10 am PT/1 pm ET (10:30 pm IST for Indian viewers).

Apple iPhone 16 Expected Launch: What To Expect



The forthcoming iPhone 16 series is set to include four models: the standard iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, and the higher-end iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Among the anticipated features is Apple Intelligence, a new software innovation that might be introduced via a post-launch update.


Another rumoured addition is a new Capture button. This physical button is expected to facilitate quick photo and video capture, potentially featuring force-sensitive functions for controlling exposure, adjusting focus, and zooming.


Alongside the iPhone 16, Apple is expected to unveil new Apple Watch models, including the Watch Series 10, Watch Ultra 3, and a more affordable Watch SE. There is also speculation about the launch of second-generation AirPods Max and two new AirPods models.


The event is likely to also reveal the official release dates for Apple's upcoming operating systems, such as iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS Sequoia, and watchOS 11. Overall, its expected to be a loaded event with lots to offer.
