UK National Creates Ruckus In Chennai, Tries To 'Bite' Commuters On Road — WATCH
A drunk man created ruckus outside a mall in the Royapettah area of Chennai.
In a video that is being circulated on social media, a drunk foreign national was seen creating a ruckus outside a mall in the Royapettah area of Chennai on Sunday night.
The man was identified as J L Willis. He is a crew member of one of the two United Kingdom's Royal Navy ships that have been anchored at Larsen and Toubro's shipbuilding facility at Kattupalli for maintenance, as per a Times Now report. In the video, the man can be seen running towards a biker, grabbing him, and allegedly trying to bite him. The police officials present on the spot were swift to intervene and move him away from the biker.

Willis and 24 other individuals visited a mall in Royapettah on Sunday afternoon. While the rest were shopping inside, Willis engaged in a dispute with individuals entering the mall, as per a Times of India report. Some people allegedly tied his hands and were planning to take him to the Government Royapettah Hospital. However, before they could do so, a team of police officials arrived at the spot and rescued Willis.
After the intervention, the police interrogated him. Shortly after that, his fellow navy sailors also arrived at the scene. The police permitted Willis to accompany his colleagues, and no legal action was taken against him, the TOI report further stated.
