The formation of actor Vijay's new political party has sparked reactions from key political figures in Tamil Nadu. DMK's TKS Elangovan acknowledged everyone's right to start a party, emphasizing the constitutional allowance for such endeavors. However, he raised crucial questions about the party's objectives and its intentions. In contrast, AIADMK leader Kovai Sathyan presented a different perspective linking Vijay's political entry to BJP's strategies in the state.
On actor Vijay's newly formed party, DMK's TKS Elangovan said, "See everybody has a right (to start their party) we cannot stop anybody from starting their own political party. The constitution permits that, so we cannot say anything. The only thing is why he is starting a political party and what he is going to fight for, is a question."
"If he comes out about his policies and ideologies then we can accept it but as far as DMK is concerned we have an ideology we have worked for. We have been with this ideology since the start and we have done a lot of things as per it. We have made people get good education and good employment."

Sathyan wished both BJP and Vijay good luck in their endeavors. AIADMK leader Kovai Sathyan said, "The cat is out of the bag finally, actor Vijay had political aspirations a decade ago and what's happening right now in Tamil Nadu is after our leader announced the termination of alliance with BJP for Lok Sabha as well as for the forthcoming assembly (elections) now the desperate attempt of BJP is coming to the front."
"BJP tried their luck with Rajinikanth and forced him to come into politics but somehow he escaped and now the next bait is Vijay because BJP needs a face from the movie world to grow in Tamil Nadu...Good luck to BJP and Vijay, that's all we can say," he said.
Tamil Nadu BJP vice president Narayanan Thirupathy also welcomed actor Vijay's entry into politics and stated that everyone has the right to form a political party. Narayanan Thirupathy said, "Everyone has the right to start a political party and enter into politics. After all, politics is to serve the public. If Vijay thinks that he can do well serving the public, he is welcome to politics...Tamil Nadu is a very politically aware state. So best of luck to him in politics."
