41-year-old James Anderson, making his debut in the ongoing IND vs ENG Test Series, dismissed star India batter Shubman Gill once again during the India vs England 2nd Test in Vizag on Friday. Gill had a promising start and went on to score a commendable 34 (46). It marked his twelfth consecutive innings without reaching a half-century.

In the 29th over, a well-pitched delivery from James Anderson compelled Shubman Gill into a forward defense. However, the Indian batsman could only manage to edge the ball as England's wicket-keeper Ben Foakes completed an easy catch behind the stumps, without much difficulty. This was the fifth time when seasoned England pacer Anderson dismissed Gill in seven innings.

Shubman Gill's ongoing struggle in Test cricket raises the possibility of him being replaced by the in-form Sarfaraz Khan, who is waiting in the wings. Furthermore, if Virat Kohli makes himself available for selection in the 3rd Test, India's management will face a challenging decision.
