TN CM Stalin To Meet President Over Governor's Inaction On Pending Bills
Stalin Delhi Visit: Tamil Nadu CM Stalin is set to fly to New Delhi on a flight from Chennai around 8.30 PM on Thursday.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin is set to visit New Delhi on Friday to meet President Draupadi Murmu to bring to her notice the inaction of Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi on pending bills. This is also the first visit of TN CM Stalin after the state Assembly passed a resolution seeking the Centre to fix a time frame for clearing the Bills.
According to ABP Nadu, Tamil Nadu CM Stalin is set to fly to New Delhi on a Vistara flight around 8.30 PM from Chennai on Thursday.
On Friday, Stalin is scheduled to meet President Draupadi Murmu to seek her support for fixing a time frame for Governors to clear the Bills passed in the Assembly.
After the visit, CM Stalin is expected to fly back to Chennai on Friday night.
Edappadi To Visit Delhi Today
AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami is scheduled to fly to New Delhi on Wednesday. EPS is likely to hold a discussion with Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
During the meeting, the former CM is expected to appraise the Union Minister on topics related to clashes with TN BJP president Annamalai, law and order issues in Tamil Nadu and others.
TN Governor RN Ravi Arrives in New Delhi
TN Governor RN Ravi also arrived in New Delhi on Wednesday. His visit has come at a time when the BJP delegation met him with 'DMK files' and purported audio of TN Finance Minister Palanivel Thiaga Rajan alleging corruption.
As part of his 3-day visit, he is also likely to meet President Droupadi Murmu and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
