Self-Styled Godman Nithyananda Recovers From 'Ailments', Set To Start Normal Life Again
The controversy over the ill health of the 'godman' started after his devotees alleged that he was sick since a few of his followers plotted against him so that they can take over the throne.
Chennai: After days of speculation over the ill-health of self-styled godman Nithyananda, the founder of Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam trust said he will soon come for regular darshans and initiations.
In a Facebook post, Kailasa's Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam said, "Paramashivas blessings! Dear devotees and beloved disciples and kailasa vaasis I am still enjoying the deep samadhi and connecting with you all in the inner space."
"I will soon settle into the body and come for regular satsangh and darshans and initiations to share elite principles and extraordinary energy of Mahakailasa. Enrich and enjoy share and celebrate," he said.

However, Nithyananda was always maintaining that he was in good health but had been witnessing a samadhi (a state of meditative consciousness).

In a post on May 11, Nithyananda said, "Thanks to all the doctors for monitoring, supporting, helping but still not out of medical care."
"Thanks for all the love, wishes by devotees to get well but actually I'm not sick. It is more like a cosmos operating through the body (doctors are still not able to diagnose any disease or disorder still)," he said.

However, he said that he will still take some time to come for Satsang or Darshan.
Yet, the announcement of his return a month later is widely welcomed by his devotees.
