Kallakurichi Student Death: Fresh CCTV Footage Shows Staff Carrying Body Of Girl, Family Call It Fake
The mother of the girl said, "This footage is fake because my daughter was found dead in some other place while the footage shows them taking the girl out from some other place."
Chennai: A fresh CCTV footage from the premises of the private school in Kallakurichi where a Class 12 girl was found dead started to do the rounds on social media on Wednesday, the visuals showed the staff lifting the girl from the ground and taking her out of the campus. On July 13, a Class 12 girl was found dead in a mysterious circumstance at a private school in Chinnasalem of Kallakurichi district.
However, the family members questioned the authenticity of the video and claimed it to be fake.
On Wednesday, the CCTV footage doing the rounds showed four staff members walking towards a pole and finding the girl lying near it. The staff members then immediately lifted the girl and took her out of the campus, as per the visuals shared by Puthiyathalaimurai.

However, the family member claimed that the video was fake. The mother of the girl, Selvi said, "The CCTV footage is fake. If it was true, the school could have shown it to us on July 13 (the day of her death). However, back then they just showed us a one-minute visual that did even show much."
"This footage is also fake because my daughter was found dead in some other place while the footage shows them taking the girl out from some other place," she said.

Even earlier, three CCTV footage of the girl surfaced on social media. The footage showed the girl walking near the stairs and another footage of her entering the classroom.
The footage has been released at a time when JIPMER is expected to submit a report in connection with the autopsies conducted on the girl.
