'Black Day In Democracy...': Stalin Slams Centre Over Delhi Services Bill
Stalin's statement highlighted that the Centre failed to resolve the ongoing issue in Manipur, yet they are actively working to harm the national capital.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin slammed the Centre for passing Delhi Services Bill with the support of 131 MPs in the Rajya Sabha on Monday. Stalin said that it was a black day of democracy since it aims to downgrade the capital Delhi as a corporation. The CM also called it a conspiracy and alleged that the people of not just Delhi but the whole country will face the wrath of it.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Stalin said, “Yesterday was a black day in democracy when a Bill was passed in the Rajya Sabha to downgrade the capital Delhi as a corporation with #DelhiServicesBill! If opposition party rules, BJP's fascism goes to the extent of even destroying the state so what else can we say about the day it took the Centre stage?”

29…
Not only the people of Delhi state, but the entire Indian people will soon face the wrath for the conspiracy that reduced the capital of a country to ground level by a margin of 29 votes, he said.
In the strong-worded statement, Stalin pointed out the Centre was not able to extinguish the burning Manipur issue but plotted to destroy national capital.
He said, “#Manipur has been burning for three months. People are well aware of BJP's tactics to destroy Delhi as they are unable to extinguish the fire.”
Condemning AIADMK for voting for the Bill, Stalin said, “It does not shock me that this bill, which undermines the authority of the Chief Minister of the state elected by the people, was supported and voted in the Rajya Sabha by a party with slaves who run by the name of Anna.”
“By saying "I am nobody's slave", this sheds light on how Palaniswami is crawling on the floor as a "slave" to the feet of the BJP,” he said.
