Apple CEO Tim Cook Praises TN Students For Capturing Vibrant Pics Of Their Communities Using iPhones

The photo exhibition named 'A Land of Stories' will be organised at Egmore Museum till April 17, 2022.

Chennai: Apple CEO Tim Cook praised 40 students from Tamil Nadu for capturing vibrant pictures of their communities using iPhone 13 Mini via a tweet on Saturday. The photos captured by the students are also showcased at Egmore Museum and VR Mall, Chennai. 

In a tweet, Tim Cook said, "Forty high school students from Tamil Nadu, India captured the vibrance of their communities on iPhone 13 mini. Now their work is featured in the student showcase at the historic Egmore Museum for the Chennai Photo Biennale."

Tim Cook shared the post along with two images clicked by the students and #ShotOniPhone. 

One of the two aesthetic pictures shared by Tim Cook showed two sisters sitting on the shore of the beach and enjoying the waves with wide smiles. Another picture captured a water body during a sunset with a blast of colors.

The students have documented Tamil Nadu's natural and man-made heritage and their works for the past few months have been showcased in the exhibition.

The photo exhibition named 'A Land of Stories' will be organised at Egmore Museum till April 17, 2022. The exhibition will be held from 9.20 PM to 5 Am.

The exhibition is also up at Aptronix store in VR Mall, Chennai from 11 Am to 10 PM.

The exhibition has a wide range of photographs showcasing the unfiltered vision of the students and their communities.

Some of the young photographers are Anusha (18), Rithika (13), Jayathra (16), Karthik (14), Sadhana (14), Poongothai (16) and Shobana (14).
