Yamuna Expressway Toll Price Hike: Toll rate on Yamuna Expressway has been increased. However, general public has been exempted from it.

Yamuna Expressway Toll Price Hike: Travelling on the Yamuna Expressway has now become costly. The Yamuna Expressway Authority has increased the toll rate. After the price hike in toll rate, people travelling by expressway will have to shell more from their pockets.

However, the general public has been exempted from it. This is because the new increased toll rate has been for commercial vehicles. The authority has not increased the charges of two-wheelers and three-wheelers along with cars, jeeps, and vans. Toll rates have been increased for buses, trucks, LCVs, and MAV, HCM vehicles.

The toll rates for these vehicles have been increased by five rupees. The 165 km long Yamuna Expressway has three toll plazas, namely Jewar, Mathura and Agra. You will have to pay Rs. 15 more while passing through these three toll plazas. According to reports, the increased rates have come into effect from Saturday night.

Agra's Khandauli toll in-charge Tulsi Ram Gurjar said the new toll rate rates on the Yamuna Expressway have been implemented from Saturday night. He informed that the toll has been increased for all vehicles, except for two-wheelers and cars.
