'IAS Officers Running Uttarakhand Govt': Congress Slams New CM As Assembly Polls Inch Closer

Ganesh Godiyal, citing a TV program, said that when Dhami was asked the vision for Uttarakhand as chief minister, he allegedly could not answer.

Uttarakhand Congress in Rishikesh: Uttarakhand Congress President Ganesh Godiyal has alleged that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has no vision for the state and bureaucrats are running his government. In a video released to the media late Tuesday night on the first day of the ongoing three-day strategic meeting of the state Congress here, Godiyal, citing a TV program, said that when Dhami was asked the vision for Uttarakhand as chief minister, he allegedly could not answer.

Bureaucrats are running the Dhami Government

Commenting on the completion of one month of Chief Minister Dhami's tenure on Tuesday, Godiyal alleged that whenever it is time to take a decision, the chief minister starts peeping sideways. He alleged that the bureaucrats sitting next door are running the Dhami government of Uttarakhand.

He said that BJP gave Uttarakhand three chief ministers in five years and the people thought that now some miracle would happen but till now no miracle has come to be seen. Godiyal said that being the main opposition party in the state, it is the political duty of Congress to keep an eye on the functioning of the ruling party's government.

Brainstorming for Assembly Elections

Strategic meeting of Uttarakhand Congress is going on in Rishikesh in a closed room in which the strategy for next year's assembly elections is being brainstormed with the central leaders.
