The decision also comes after Stalin announced that he would skip NITI Ayog meet to be led by PM Modi in the capital.

Earlier, Stalin took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his dissatisfaction. "INDIA coalition MPs have staged a protest against the exclusion of several states in the Union Budget," he said.

Addressing Prime Minister Narendra Modi directly, Stalin remarked, "Hon'ble Prime Minister @narendramodi, you said, 'The election is over, now we have to think about the country.' But yesterday's #Budget2024 will save your government, but not the nation!"

He further warned the Prime Minister to govern impartially and avoid taking revenge on states that did not support him in the elections. "I am obliged to advise you that if you run the government according to political likes and dislikes, you will be isolated," Stalin added.

These comments come as leaders from the I.N.D.I.A. bloc walked out of the Rajya Sabha, claiming that all states except Bihar and Andhra Pradesh were neglected in the Modi 3.0 government's budget.

Stalin also shared a photograph of MPs from the I.N.D.I.A bloc protesting before the Parliament over the allocation of projects to states in the Union Budget 2024.
