Madhya Pradesh: Former Army Man Kills Brother, Nephew With Licensed Gun In Sagar
The accused killed his elder brother and his nephew after they tried to stop a quarrel that he was having with his wife,
A former Army man shot dead his brother and nephew Madhya Pradesh's Sagar district. His daughter was injured when she tried to intervene as he shot at the men. He shot the two men when they tried to stop an argument that he was having with his wife. A police officer told news agency PTI that the accused, Ramadhar Tiwari (50), has been arrested in connection with the shooting that took place on Friday in Lalepur village, which is around 15 kilometres away from the district headquarters.
Inspector R P Dubey of Sanodha police station while talking to PTI said that the accused was in a heated argument with his wife Sandhya when his brother Rammilan (62) and his nephew Ajju (36) tried to intervene and stop the argument. Following this, the accused opened fire at both his brother and nephew. In the process, he also shot and injured his daughter Varsha (24).
The official added that the accused then got into his car and fled the scene, however, he was apprehended hours later.

The two men succumbed to their injuries during treatment at a hospital. The injured woman is currently being treated at Bundelkhand Medical College, said the official. SP Abhishek Tiwari said that the accused was a former Army man and he committed the murders with a licensed firearm.

As per the police officer, the accused has four daughters and a son. Both of his children were in school when the shooting broke out at his house, reported PTI.
