Kapil Dev, TGF Help Raise Rs 2.6 Cr Fund To Nurture Golf Amongst Underprivileged

TGF's 15th Invitational Fundraiser tournament saw esteemed guests like Kapil Dev and Amit Luthra, celebrating a successful event in nurturing young golf talent from underprivileged backgrounds.

The Golf Foundation (TGF) concluded its highly anticipated 15th Invitational Fundraiser tournament at the prestigious Delhi Golf Club, achieving yet another successful event in its endeavor to foster young golf talent from underprivileged backgrounds.

Distinguished guests honored the occasion, with notable figures such as Kapil Dev, the legendary former captain of the 1983 World Cup-winning Indian cricket team, Ms. Nandini Gupta, Miss India World 2023, Amit Luthra, a multiple-time National Golf Champion and Asian Games Gold Medalist, Brijinder Singh, President of IGU, and other prominent individuals in attendance.

Reflecting on the event's success, Amit Luthra, the driving force behind the initiative, expressed gratitude for the dedication of everyone involved in supporting young golf talent from underprivileged backgrounds. He highlighted the significant achievement of raising Rs 2.60 Crore through generous sponsor contributions.

"It's heartening to witness the passion and commitment of everyone involved in supporting young golf talent from underprivileged backgrounds.With the help of sponsors,we managed to collect a whopping 2.60 cr"

Kapil Dev's Comments On The Event

Kapil Dev praised the transformative impact of sports on lives and youth opportunities at the event. He commended The Golf Foundation's commitment to aiding young golfers from underprivileged backgrounds, expressing honor in being part of the initiative.

Expressing his thoughts on the event, Kapil Dev commented, "Events like these showcase the power of sports in transforming lives and creating opportunities for the youth. India's Veer Ahlawat At Indian Open 2024

India's Veer Ahlawat celebrated a significant milestone in his career by achieving his highest-ever finish in a DP World Tour event, concluding tied for second place after an impressive one-under 71 on the final day of the recently-concluded Indian Open 2024 at the DLF Golf & Country Club.

Ahlawat's outstanding performance featured a remarkable eagle on the last hole, completing the tournament with an impressive four-day total of 275, trailing just four shots behind the eventual winner, Keita Nakajima of Japan.
