Takshvi Vaghan has achieved the record of the lowest limbo skating for 25 metres. The news was confirmed by Guinness World Records (GWR). The record-keeper also shared a video of the six-year-old girl who hails from Ahmedabad in Gujarat acing the challenge with ease. For the unversed, the sport requires the inidividual to skake underneath a horizontal pole. She set the new world record on March 10 last year.
While GWR's official website notes that Takshvi had attempted the record for personal achievement, the video instantly went viral on social media after it was posted on social media on the official handle of Guinness World Records on April 10."Lowest limbo skating over 25 m,16 cm (6.29 in) by Takshvi Vaghani," the clip was captioned. The video of the new record-holder was also shared by news agency ANI on April 18 (Thursday).

Manasvi Vishal Previous Holder Of Lowest Limbo Skating over 25m Record
The previous record holder of the lowest limbo sakting over 25 m as per the Guiness World Records was also an Indian. It was Manasvi Vishal of Pune who previously held that distinction, accomplishing the feat by gliding a distance for 25 metres with a height of 16.5 centimetres above the ground.

The record was bettered with a 16 centiremetres distance glide by Takshvi. In addition, an 18-year-old Indian skater named Shrishti Dharmendra Sharma was set a new world record in July 2023. She completed the distance of 50 metres in 6.94 seconds to achieve the fastest time to limbo skate that distance. She bettered her own record of 7.38 seconds.
