Take Care Of Street Animals Who Depend On Humans For Food: Dhawan's Message Amid COVID19 Outbreak

Amid the lockdown which has witnessed streets getting barren and most of the markets being shut, Dhawan has urged citizens to take care of animals which live on the streets and usually get their food from us.

New Delhi: Staying at home is important, so is washing hands a much required precautionary measure amid the coronavirus outbreak and spread all over the nation. From everywhere the messages are pouring in to strictly remained confined at home and maintain social distancing. Right from the government, health authorities and even celebrities, everyone is asking people to stay at home. From Lionel Messi to Sachin Tendulkar to name a few.. top sportspersons are motivating people with video messages and giving tips on what to do during home quarantine. Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan has also posted his message on social media, but something which is quite unique and a bit different from the usual safety tips generally floating around to prevent ourselves from COVID19. Dhawan has urged people to think about those animals and birds which depend on us for food. Amid the lockdown which has witnessed streets getting barren and most of the markets being shut, Dhawan has urged citizens to take care of animals which live on the streets and usually get their food from us. " While you cook please make a little extra so that you can feed these animals and birds . They depend on us ", said Shikhar in his video message . A couple of days back Shikhar had posted a video where he was seen playing blind pillow challenge game and had challenged cricketers like Rohit Sharma , Hardik Pandya , Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal to join in . Almost all cricketers these days are in home quarantine in their respective home cities and are spending some precious time with their families .
