Rohit Sharma Viral video: Captains of all the cricket teams participating in the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia attended a traditional press conference on Saturday where captains of all teams interact with media ahead of the marquee event. After the presser got over, India's newly appointed all-format skipper Rohit Sharma was seen boarding a cab. The video has been posted by an Australian sports journalist who claims the senior opener boarded a cab after the presser along with a member of the support staff.

The Indian contingent reportedly arrived in Brisbane a few hours after the press conference got over. In Brisbane, the Men in Blue will play warm-up matches against Australia on October 17 and New Zealand on October 19. India will officially kick off its T20 World Cup campaign with a match against Pakistan on 23rd October.

During the press conference, Rohit Sharma revealed that the team management has already decided India XI for T20 WC match against Pakistan on 23rd October. The Indian captain asserted he does not like last-minute discussions as he wants players to prepare well.

"I don’t believe in last-minute decisions. We want to keep our boys informed about team selection before so that they can prepare early. I already have my XI for the Pakistan match. Already, those players are informed. I don’t believe in last-minute thing. I want them to prepare well", Rohit said during the conference.

BCCI on Friday named Mohammed Shami as Jasprit Bumrah's replacement for World Cup. Reacting to Shami's inclusion, Rohit said he hasn't seen Shami yet.

"I haven’t seen Shami as yet. But I am hearing good things about him. I will gauge him during the practice in Brisbane tomorrow (Sunday)," he added.
