Virat Kohli hotel room leaked video: Former India skipper Virat Kohli, who is currently with the national team with Australia for T20 World Cup 2022, posted a disturbing video via his official Instagram handle to show some individuals, probably the hotel staff, entering his room to showcase his belongings. Virat wrote a long caption while sharing the video, expressing how appalling it was for him to see his privacy getting breached. The batting legend asserted that he 'wasn't okay with this kind of fanaticism'. The unfortunate incident took place at Perth's Crown Hotel.

"I understand that fans get very happy and excited seeing their favourite players and get excited to meet them and I’ve always appreciated that. But this video here is appalling and it’s made me feel very paranoid about my privacy. If I cannot have privacy in my own hotel room, then where can I really expect any personal space at all?? I’m NOT okay with this kind of fanaticism and absolute invasion of privacy. Please respect people’s privacy and not treat them as a commodity for entertainment," wrote Kohli on Instagram.

Team India's former captain Sunil Gavaskar, during an exclusive conversation with India Today, backed Virat Kohli by saying players should get privacy in their hotel rooms.

"But I think in your hotel room? Yes 100 percent, you need that privacy. Nobody should be doing what was done. I didn't see the video but I heard about it and I think it is simply not done," he added.
