Rio Olympics: Abhinav Bindra in final, Gagan Narang fails to qualify

  Rio de Janeiro: Abhinav Bindra brought smiles on the faces of Indian supporters as he qualified for the final round of the 10m air rifle event at the Olympic Shooting Competition here on Monday. Beijing Olympic gold medalist Bindra aggregated 625.7 to be placed 7th. First eight shooters made the cut for the medal round. Another Indian shooter in the competition, Gagan Narang ended at 23rd place with a total of 621.7 and failed to qualify for the final round.
