Vinesh Phogat, who narrowly missed out on a medal at the Paris Olympics 2024 after being disqualified from the Women's 50 kg freestyle event ahead of the gold medal bout because of being overweight at the time of weight-in by 100 grams, celebrated Rakhsha Bandhan with her brother.

While Vinesh tied the Rakhi to her brother Harvinder Phogat, the brother and sister shared a light moment where the sister could be seen joking that the bundle of Rs 500 notes that his brother gave him as a gift is his lifetime earnings which has given to her. Notably, Vinesh returned to India on August 17, receiving a grand welcome at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in New Delhi.
