Vinesh Phogat, the star Indian wrestler, had a really long day on Saturday (August 17). Post a heartbreaking turn of events which saw her become the first Indian woman wrestler to reach the gold medal bout in Olympic Games only to be disqualified from the event for being 100 grams overweight in the morning of the final match, Phogat reached New Delhi on Saturday morning.
However, it took her 12 more hours to reach her native village Balali, where a grand felicitation ceremony was awaiting her. After a long travel day and in humid conditions, the 29-year-old seemingly fainted in a ceremony which was meant to celebrate her never-say-die attitude and her brilliant run up to the final. However, there is no confirmation on the same and she might well be taking a nap.
