Additionally, Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh, along with Rhythm Sangwan and Arjun Singh Cheema, will participate in the 10m air pistol mixed team qualification, with the top two teams guaranteed medals. The Indian men's archery team will also compete in the quarter-finals.
Notably, the world No. 3 Badminton doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy-Chirag Shetty was scheduled to face Germany's Mark Lamsfuss and Marvin Seide in their second group game at the Paris Olympics. However, the German pair withdrew on Monday after Lamsfuss sustained a knee injury. The Badminton World Federation (BWF) issued a statement wishing Lamsfuss a speedy recovery and announced the cancellation of the match.
