Paris 2024 Olympics: India gears up for yet another Olympic season as the nation has started preparing with qualification phases for the athletes for the mega event. The global event will commence from July 26, and will run till August 11 in the capital of France (Paris). India endured a highly successful Tokyo 2020 Olympics back in 2021, as a record 7 medal winners were there, with Neeraj Chopra grabbing the headlines with a historic gold medal in Men's Javelin Throw event.
However, the Indian contingents will see the Women's Hockey Team miss out on the tour as they failed to qualify for the event, inspite of the fact that they had a historic run at Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
