The Indian Para shooter achieved the feat in the Women's 10m Air Rifle Standing SH1 Final, and it was a memorable day for India, as her compatriot, Avani Lekhara bagged the historic gold medal, as she successfully defended her Olympic title.

Who Is Mona Agarwal? Know More About Her Way From Hardships... To Glory!
Mona Agarwal did not have an easy childhood. As she was the third girl child of the house, elders and family members left no crumbs left in terms of mocking her, and more unfortunate news followed for Mona Agarwal, as she fell prey to Polio, thereby, affecting both her legs.
Mona Agarwal is a 36-year-old Indian Para Shooter, and a fighter in real life. She is a mother of two children, and currently lives in Jaipur, the place of her birth. Mona completed her education from the University of Rajasthan in Psychology, and currently practices at Eklavya Sports Shooting Academy in Jaipur, under the tutelage of coach Yogesh Shekhawat.
The Indian Para shooter started her career late in 2021, as before that, she was into other sports. Upon taking the sport, the results were there for everyone to witness, as she managed to win the Gold medal at Para Shooting World Cup in New Delhi, 2023.
Fast forward to 2024, after suffering so many adversities in life and bravely fighting all of it, Mona Agarwal now stands as a World Champion, Paralympics bronze medalist, above all that, an inspiration to women all over the world.
