Hosts England who have made it to their fourth Cricket World Cup final would like to break the jinx of losing thrice in the past finals (1979,1987,1992) and win their maiden World Cup title in front of their home crowd. The World Cup  title clash at Lord's will witness some key players from both teams vying for some major career landmarks Here are some of the major milestones which can be attained by England players in the ICC World Cup final against England Jonny Bairstow (496 runs) is four runs away from getting to 500 runs in the ongoing 2019 CWC. After Joe Root, who has scored 549 runs in the ongoing 2019 World Cup, Bairstow will be the second England batsman to score at least 500 runs in a single CWC season. Joe Root (759 runs in 15 ODI innings) is 48 runs away from becoming  the highest  ODI run-scorer as an England batsman in a season. Liam Plunkett needs two more wickets (198 wickets) to complete his 200 international wickets. England all-rounder Ben Stokes (5,982 runs) needs 18 runs to complete his 6,000 international runs. Leg-spinner Adil Rashid (11 wickets) is three wickets away to become the most successful spinner for England at the Cricket World Cup. The current record is held by the off-spinners Eddie Hemmings and Vic Marks (13 CWC wickets each ).
