Hardik Pandya Meets Union Minister Amit Shah Ahead Of Sri Lanka Series, Shares Picture On Twitter

On the New Year's Eve, Hardik met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence on Saturday ahead of Sri Lanka's Tour to India.

Indian cricket team's star all-rounder Hardik Pandya will soon be seen leading the national team in the upcoming India vs Sri Lanka T20 International series. On the New Year's Eve, Hardik met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence on Saturday ahead of Sri Lanka's Tour to India. All-rounder's brother Krunal Pandya too accompanied him for the meeting.

Pandya was recently made captain of India's T20 team by the BCCI for Sri Lanka tour. A three-match T20 and ODI series will be played between India and Sri Lanka. The limited overs series will start from 3rd January, 2023.

"Thank you for inviting us to spend invaluable time with you Honourable Home Minister Shri @AmitShah Ji. It was an honour and privilege to meet you," tweeted Hardik Pandya.

Hardik Pandya he has been in the limelight ever since BCCI announced him the captain for T20 series against Sri Lanka. It is believed that BCCI has already started its preparations, keeping in mind the 2024 T20 World Cup. However, no official announcement has been made regarding whether Pandya has been made the regular captain in the shortest format.

Hardik Pandya made an inspiring comeback in the Indian team. While captaining Gujarat Titans, Hardik made the team champion in their debut season itself. Apart from this, he led Team India to a series win in a T20 series against Ireland.
