MotoGP Rider Jason Dupasquier Dies After Crash At Italian GP; Watch Video Of Deadly Clash

Italy: MotoGP rider, Jason Dupasquier has died after succumbing to injuries after he crashed with another bike during a MotoGP race in Italy. The 19-year old couldn't tackle the injuries and had to lose his life.
“Following a serious incident in the Moto3 qualifying two session at the Gran Premio d’Italia, it is with great sadness that we report the passing of Moto3 rider Jason Dupasquier,” MotoGP said on its official website.

“Dupasquier was involved in a multi-rider incident between turns nine and 10, with the session red flagged thereafter,” the statement added. “FIM medical intervention vehicles arrived at the site immediately and the Swiss rider was attended to on the track before being transferred by medical helicopter, in a stable state, to Careggi Hospital in Florence.”
“Despite the best efforts of circuit medical staff and all those subsequently attending to the Swiss rider, the hospital has announced that Dupasquier has sadly succumbed to his injuries.”
It is understood that the Swiss rider was being created for almost an hour after his accident before he was taken to the hospital. After winning the GP, Fabio Quartararo waived the Swiss flag to pay his tributes to the lost rider.
The three-time MotoGP world champion Jorge Lorenzo paid his condolences to Dupasquier on Twitter. “My deepest condolences to Jason Dupasquier’s family, friends and team. Ride in peace Jason," he wrote.
So far, there have been 270 deaths recorded in the Moto GP event. "On behalf of the entire MotoGP family, we send our love to his team, his family and loved ones You will be sorely missed, Jason. Ride in peace," wrote MOTO GP.
