India's legendary sprinter Milkha Singh, who was isolated at his home after testing Covid-19 positive, was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital on Monday in Mohali.
On Tuesday, 91-year-old Milkha Singh was tested positive for Coronavirus, after which he was isolated at his home in Chandigarh. Sources in the hospital said that Milkha's condition is now stable.
"He is stable and presently on low flow oxygen and medical management," the hospital stated.

His son and top golfer Jeev Milkha Singh said that he was admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali as a precautionary measure.
"He has been hospitalised. He was weak and not eating since yesterday, so we had to hospitalise him. Though his parameters seemed alright, we thought it is safer to have him admitted where he would be under supervision of senior doctors," Jeev told PTI.
"He is under good care of doctors there. He is a strong man, always positive and will recover soon," added the golfer, who reached here on Saturday from Dubai after his father tested positive.
Milkha Singh had earlier said that his family underwent tests for Coronavirus after a couple of domestic helpers in his house were infected with the virus.
"Only I returned positive on Wednesday and I am surprised," Milkha had told PTI after testing positive.

Milkha Singh is a 1958 Commonwealth Games champion and a four-time Asian Games gold-medallist.
