Los Angeles Lakers have announced that their star forward Lebron James will be out with right a foot injury for at least three weeks. In an official announcement on their verified social media handle, his team announced that the 38-year-old was evaluated by the physicians who have diagnosed a right foot tendon injury.

Their tweet has added that he reassessment of his injury would be done after a period of three weeks till which he will not play any part in Lakers' upcoming matches.

"LeBron James has been evaluated by Lakers team physicians and medical staff, and it has been determined that he has sustained a right foot tendon injury. James will be reevaluated in approximately three weeks," Los Angeles Lakers tweeted.

It is pertinent to note that the Lakers were without the services of the NBA's all time leading scorer in their match against Memphis which they went on to lose 121-109. It was conveyed at that time that James was suffering from a right foot soreness. In addition to James, the Lakers also missed D’Angelo Russell on the court who missed his second game on the trot owing to a sprain which he has sustained on his right foot.

James had previously played in Lakers' 111-108 victory at Dallas where he helped his side overcome a deficit to eventually come out on top. However, he was seemingly in pain and walked off the premises with a limp with a video of it also surfacing on social media. He had sustained the injury in the third quarter of the game and was on the floor in pain but decided to finish the game.
