John Cena On Filming Sex Scenes In Movies, WWE Legend Terms It 'Really Embarrassing' | VIDEO
John Cena featured in an episode of 'Club Shay Shay' podcast where he talked to Shannon Sharpe on a range of topics, from his wrestling career to his acting experience.
John Cena, the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Legend, has highlighted that filming intimate scenes in movies can be very embarassing. He said that although audience watching those scenes may have a very different perspective, with a lot of people involved while shooting a particular scene, John Cena feels that there is hardly anything intimate about an intimate scene.
The 47-year-old WWE veteran made these revelations in a recent episode of the 'Club Shay Shay' podcast by Shannon Sharpe. In this particular chapter of the podcast, host fired a range of questions to John Cena which revolved not only around his wrestling career but also his association with movies and acting. During the conversation, Cena, who had performed some intimate scenes in the 2-15 movie 'Trainwreck', answered in the affirmative when asked if it was awkward shooting such visuals.

"Right now, you guys at home think it's just us. There's a whole f****** world back there. We started off practice; it was like a closed set. I've come to grips with like 'This is who you are. You work hard every day to be the best you can, f*** it man, let it hang out.' There are so many people you need to make a movie, there's nothing intimate about it. Nothing. Like it's really embarrassing," John Cena said while speaking at the 'Club Shay Shay' podcast.
Comedic Sex Scenes Are Even More Difficult: John Cena
The 16-time world champion then went on to add that the comedic sex scenes are even more difficult to execute as an actor. This is because actors need to make as awkward as possible to provide the comic relief.
"Cause you have to make it as awkward as possible, while the whole crew is watching. It's different. I don't wanna say it sucks, it's just different than you all think it is."

As far as his wrestling career is concerned, John Cena announced last month that Wrestlemania 2025 will be the final one of his career.
