Jason Roy's flying catch brings back memories of Jonty Rhodes

New Delhi: The sixth edition of Big Bash T20 League started in a blazing manner with the Sydney derby providing a number of moments of brilliance to remember. But none better than the Jason Roy catch which brought back memories of a catch taken by Jonty Rhodes to dismiss Sachin Tendulkar.
Sydney Thunders were in a good position at 74/2 when a moment of brilliance from Jason Roy turned the match towards the Sydney Sixers.
Ben Rohrer smashed a wide one from Joe Menine, which had four written all over it but Jason Roy flew towards his right and plucked it out of thin air at Point to stun everyone present at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground.

Jonty Rhodes had set the benchmark for fielding when he took a blinder at point to send back Sachin Tendulkar.
Rohrer was dismissed for 2 and Thunders could only manage 159 in their allotted 20 overs. Sixers went on to win the match by 8 wickets thanks to swashbuckling 76 off 41 by captain Moises Henriques.
