Jadeja thanks PM Modi for inspiring Indians to stay fit

New Delhi [India], June 29 (ANI): Star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for inspiring all the Indians across the world to stay fit.

Jadeja's gesture came a day after Prime Minister Modi was seen riding a bicycle which was gifted to him by his Dutch counterpart Mark Rutte during his visit to the Netherlands.

The Indian cricketer is currently with the national squad in West Indies for the limited-overs series, comprising of five ODIs and lone T20I.

Following the Prime Minister's footsteps, Jadeja also went for a bicycle ride outside the team hotel in the Caribbean on Thursday morning.

The 28-year-old took to Twitter and posted a collage of him on a bicycle and Prime Minister Modi on a bicycle during his visit to Netherlands.

"Thanks a lot sir. You inspiring all the Indians around the world. #greatmen #proudindian (sic)," he wrote.

Earlier, Jadeja was dropped from the first two ODIs at an expense of Kuldeep Yadav, who bagged three wickets on his debut. India will play third ODI at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua on June 30. (ANI)
