New Delhi: India's front-line test seamer Ishant Sharma hurt his troublesome right ankle again while bowling against Vidharbha in the second innings of the Ranji Trophy match being played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The tall and lanky Delhi bowler hurt his ankle during a ferocious lbw appeal against Faiz Fazal and twisted his ankle and immediately rolled over the pitch in great pain. Ishant, who has played 96 Tests and is keen to play a record 100 tests, will be concerned over returning to full fitness before the NZ Tour game on February 14. Ishant hobbled off the field, being helped by Delhi physio while he was into his third over of the second innings. He picked three for 45 in the first innings. Ishant has been postponing a surgery on his ankle for quite some time and more keen on managing his workload keep the 100 Tests milestone in mind. National selector Devang Gandhi was watching on the sidelines and looked concerned and took an update on Ishant with the medical staff.
