Umar Akmal Misspells KKR, Gets Trolled: Umar Akmal, the Pakistani cricket star, may have had noble intentions when he took to social media to share a congratulatory post for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 win. However, he was on the receiving end of social media trolling for a spelling mistake.
While referring to the Shreyas Iyer-led KKR who beat Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the IPL 2024 final at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday (May 26), Akmal wrote KKL. "Congratulations to #kkl on winning #ipl third trophy @KKRiders @IPL‘s @GautamGambhir @ShreyasIyer15," he posted on X.

Akmal's tweet went viral in no time. The cricketer has previously been targetted too for his wrong English.

KKR Beat SRH In One-Sided IPL 2024 Final
As far as KKR are concerned, the team had a memorable night with them dominating the match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). While they first restricted SRH to lowest ever total in an IPL final at 113, before chasing down the target in 10.3 overs to claim their third title.
