Twitter on Sunday launched nine special team emojis, which can be activated by hashtags in English and six Indian languages. Some of the hashtags that will unlock the team emojis are #OneFamily, #WhistlePodu, #PlayBold, #KorboLorboJeetbo, #SaddaPunjab, #OrangeArmy, #HallaBol, and #YehHaiNayiDilli. "Through these nine emojis, fans will be able to show instant support to their favourite team. Fans will also be able to follow and participate in live conversations. Stay tuned for more updates and follow the opening game #MIvCSK this September 19 on Twitter," the microblogging site said in a statement.


The tournament opener of the cash-rich tournament will be played between defending champions Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on September 19. Initially, IPL was supposed to take place in India but got postponed indefinitely by the BCCI due to Coronavirus pandemic.


Earlier on September 6, the BCCI had come out with the schedule for the upcoming edition which will be played out between eight teams over 56 days across three venues namely; Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah.
