Defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) on Saturday released its theme campaign ahead of the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). This particular campaign released by the franchise has shown the fans that though the tournament is taking place in the Covid era, still their emotions will be undeterred. The campaign has also tried to give away the message that the fans are an important part of MI, encouraging them to ensure requisite safety precautions while being the part of celebrations. MI said in their release that it "showcases the spirit of the One Family, which ceases to succumb to any situation." The tournament opener of IPL 2020 will be played between defending champions Mumbai Indians and Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings on September 19. Earlier in the day, MI's star all-rounder Kieron Pollard arrived at the UAE with his family to join the team after completing his commitments in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).


Under Rohit's captaincy Mumbai Indians have won the IPL title for a record four times (2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019). Like every season, even this year all the eyes will be on 'Khel Ratna Rohit Sharma' when he again takes charge of the defending champions.
